Heart of California
NTE Hosting is an Alert Systems Incorporated company, located in sunny Sacramento, CA. Sacramento was chosen as a headquarters because of its central location, connectivity to the internet, political and social significance.
NTE Hosting, is a subsidiary of Alert Systems, a service based company providing onsite technical service to the Sacramento area for over 8-years. NTE Hosting was launched in March 2007 as a fully turnkey hosting provider, allowing customers to order both hosting and professional services online. Our goal was to create an online entity to bring the ease of hosting management via control panel access to the customers' fingertips, and put them in the driving seat with simple and easy to use tools.
Datacenter -
The NTE Datacenter is actually located in the heart of silicon valley within the secured IRS building in downtown San Jose, Ca. We currently have an uncapped 100mbps pipe to the internet, and with our peering agreements can burst to even higher bandwidth levels. Our datacenter is located in a secured facility, with 24-hour guards, and requires ID, access card and pass-key for access to our hosting operations center.
Scalability -
With room for expansion and our flexible attitude, we can quickly expand to satisfy the requirements of even the fastest growing business. We're currently utilizing under 1% of our network and server capacity, so there is plenty of room to grow with us.

NTE and Alert Computers form alliance
An alliance formed between NTE founder Jason Vaughan and Alert Computers owner Robert Turner was announced January 15th, 2008. This alliance will allow clients of Alert Computers to make easy transition to NTE as their hosting provider, and inversely offer onsite IT services to local businesses in the greater Sacramento area. Through a unique partnership, we are pleased to announce our remote backup service. Subscribers of this service will download and install our easy to use remote backup solution software. With this system, our clients can choose what data on their workstations or servers they want to schedule for backup. The automated backup agent at the prescheduled time will then securely send a copy of those files to our servers in San Jose, AND then to a second secured backup facility located in Seattle. This ensures clients that they have their data backed up AND provide additional disaster recovery insurance in case of a prolific event in California.
